The aim

The Conflict Project aims to highlight different elements of conflict across a broad spectrum of social issues. From addressing homelessness to psychedelic medicine, the conflict team will delve into the nuances and opposing views being debated.

 

Split into four topics, society, identity, health and science; the site will feature topical analysis, insightful interviews and perhaps a little compromise between sparring parties.

 

Conflict itself is essential in society. A formative part of both democratic principles and free thought, being willing to engage and disagree with others helps forward ideologies, form new theories and evolve the structures we conduct ourselves in. Recent times have brought about increasing division, scepticism and rejection of conflict. Often seen as a sign of weakness or chaos - perhaps, instead we should view conflict as the breeding ground for new ideas and progress.
